UWE and Ocean Quest Dive Centre, are excited to announce we have a new PADI Night Diver. Mariusz, came to Ocean Quest as an Open Water diver and has been working hard at his training. He has completed the PADI Advanced Open Water Course, and went directly into the PADI Night Diver course.
He has been working very hard, and expressed how much he loves Night Diving! One his first night dive on the PADI Night Diver course was done in conjunction with his Advanced Open Water training. The visibility was not to bad, and Mariusz indicated that he had problems with bnuoyancy at night as there is certainly limited distance visibility.
Mariusz’s second dive was problematic at best. He had problems with buoyancy control, and then with the attempt to remain at depth he also breathed quickly through his tank. Though not a danger as we simply took him to the surface, things certainly could have gone better. During the depbrief we discovered the various problems that Mariusz encountered and we suggested ways to improve for his graduation dive.
Last night, we headed back out to Whytecliff Park, and it was a little later in the evening, the water calm and tide high. Visibility was spectacular! As we progressed the various skills on Dive 3, Mariusz did an excellent job! The dive was spectacular!!
