Well it has been a busy couple of days. Saturday had us finishing up a Dry suit course, and the Deep and Drift dives on an Advanced Diver course from PADI.
After completing some knowledge reviews, we set out on the zodiac to hit the Chaudiere first, for around 11 am, do some Deep skills and just enjoy a nice tour of the Chaud. Dave did a great job with the skills, while Vas completed his first dive carrying a stage decompression cylinder, as he is preparing to train with me for the Decompressions Procedures/Advanced Nitrox course.
The vis was a little rough on our way down the mooring line, but opened up around the 50ft mark and then it was easily 100 ft. The water temp is still in the 46 – 48 degree range surface to depth, so the water is still a little cool…but it was great being back in the old stomping grounds.
The afternoon had us diving on the Tzoonie Narrowes, which is always a great dive…even though I lost my wrist seal, and flooded my dry suit.
Great weekend out training and diving thanks to Suncoast Diving!
