2 New Advanced Adventurers!!

Ida-Marie

UWE and EcoSea Dive are very excited to announce we have two new SSI Advanced Adventure Divers.  Ed and Ida came to us wanting to complete their course.  So into the classroom we went.  Unlike many, UWE shows all the movies and do all the knowledge reviews for the Advanced dives as if you were doing the full specialty.  We feel more information is better then less!!

Ida and Ed decided they wanted to do the Deep, Navigation, U/W Photography, Perfect Performance Buoyancy and the Night & Low Visibility dives.  It was

nice seeing both students improving their diving technics as well as becoming more and more confident.

During the night dive, we were treated to a beautiful show from two different Octopi and one cuttle fish.  I have to saw their were big big smiles at the end of that dive.

Well done to both students!! Safe travels!

New SSI Open Water Divers

Katie SSI Open Water

UWE and EcoSea Dive are very excited to announce that we have a ned Open Water Diver.  Ms Katie came out and hit us with storm and she flew through her training with no troubles what-so-ever!!

Day 1, had Katie breezing through the book work.  She made easy work of the knowledge reviews, and was very fast to pick up on the Dive computers section.  When it came to exam time, she made short work of it, and put away a passing mark without even breaking a sweat!! Well done!

Day 2 and 3 had us out on the island.  We started off with the Confined Water skills which Katie showed she had no troubles completing so it was simple to get Open Water 1 and 2 completed.  On the third day, Katie volunteered to help out and be a casualty during the Rescue course that Jarred was working on.  She once again made easy work of the Open Water Divers skills, so she then once completed became a drowning casualty that Jarred had to react too.

Well done Katie and thank you so much for the assistances!!! Safe travels!!!!

We Have Three New Dive Masters

Emilie

UWE and EcoSea Dive are very excited to announce that we have three new Dive Master.  Emilie, Andy, and Christina successfully completed their Dive Master Internship at the end of April, after three very hard working months with EcoSea Dive.

Andy and Emilie, joined up on Jan, which Emilie already being an Open Water diver, and Andy hold no certification at all, so for him he started and the very beginning.  Both Emilie and Andy did a fantastic job with their training.  Emilie, excelled in the booking office, and being a native French speaker she helped my on many many courses translating my English and very poor French into a usable and successful team training many students who were in their own

Andy

right French speakers.

Andy, not to be out done joined in on many of the Specialty courses as my Dive Master. He

learned quickly and had not problems adapting as the course went on.  He was called in to assist in many of the SSI courses I taught even though he was doing his training as a PADI Dive Master.

Christina, was a natural, she can certain organize and lead in order to get the job completed.  She joined in the training as an Open Water diver.  She successfully completed

Christina

all of the courses that were required to get her to the DM level.  She made short work of the academics, and put the time need to lead dives, and supervise certified divers.  Overall she did an excellent job!

Well done, and congratulations to all of the new Dive Master.  It was truly a joy to work and train with you.  I would like to wish you all the greatest success in the future!!

Congrates to Our New PADI Open Water Diver

Mylene PADI Open Water

UWE and EcoSea Dive are very excited to announce that Mylene of Montreal Canada has successfully completed her Open Water training with PADI.

On Day 1, Mylene was hard at work in the classroom, learning all the does and don’ts about diving.  Judging by hear marks she had no problems with that area of the training.  We could tell she would be a natural.

Day 2, had her meeting me out on the island, and that is where we got started on doing all of her confined water skills.  Mylene was a little nervous at the start, and we had a couple of little hiccups, but with her determination and hard work we made short work of all of her confined water skills.  We went from there right into Ow dive 1, which turned out being the most unbelievable drift dive I have seem inside the bay.

Day 3 and we were back out doing the Open Water portion of her course.  Mylene, had no troubles and was treated to some of the nicest diving I have seen in Cambodia, seeing Blue spotted rays, Puffer Fish, Scorpion Fish, and many many other things!  Well done to you Mylene!!

We Have a New Rescue Diver – Way to Go Chris!!

Chris

UWE and EcoSea Dive are very excited to announce, Chris from Canada, has successfully completed his PADI Rescue course!! Well done Chris.  The funny part is Chris is a natural.  He had little problems with his training.  I was working on a students Open Water classroom session when in walks Chris.  I knew him to be a fellow Canadian right off the bat.  He said “out” funny…who knew us Canadians had an ascent.

After talking over the course requirements, I discovered we had something else in common, he was a serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces, and I being a retired one, we kind of hit it off right away.

While out on the island, Chris completed the confined water, and open water skills as well as all of the academics.  Being that he is a member of the Military, the rescue skills came easy.  So really other then making sure all the requirements were met, we simply enjoyed some good diving!

Well done Chris, hope you get to use the rescue skills and be safe my friend!!
