UWE would like to say congratulations to Shawn for his successful completion of his PADI Drysuit Diver Course. He like I is a fello warm water diver, one who has found the charms of Southeast Asia. A place where the diving and people are equally exciting.
Shawn’s course was a little rushed as the dive centre which hired me to complete the training, did not afford the classroom time that is needed to make this a truly rewarding course, but we did our best to make it the most informative one as possible. Shawn did a stupendance job with the skills, and hopefully he will become a cold water diver as I have.
Big changes for UWE this year. We have returned to Canada and I am working in Vancouver mainland, diving at the world famous Whytecliff park. The visibility to marginal at best, and the water temperatures are cold for sure. Well cold for this guy, having just returned from the fabulous Southeast Asia.
Tara, my Drysuit student on the other hand, did a bang up job diving the area. These were her first ocean dives in the Pacific Northwest but she certainly did a bang up job. She made little work of her skills and quickly learned to master the drysuit. Well done to you Tara!!
Looking to do some training, be sure to drop a line.
